Who Was Arthur Tarkhanyan?
Arthur Tarkhanyan (1932–2006) was a pioneering Armenian architect whose visionary designs defined modernist architecture in Armenia. His landmark works include the Youth Palace, Zvartnots Airport, and the Memorial Complex of Armenian Genocide. Over his illustrious career, Tarkhanyan authored numerous urban plans, public buildings, and monuments, leaving an indelible legacy in both architecture and academia.
