The reconstruction of the church was based on preserving the old, dilapidated church from the 19th century.
For this reason, work was carried out to strengthen the existing structures, including adding columns both externally and internally, creating a new structural system.
The existing stonework was also cleared of damaged and unsightly plaster, revealing the ancient stonework to visitors.
